John 3:16 – Be Thankful, Grateful, Patient, Charitable, Kind, and don’t forget to smile as it is infectious.
I guess you could say my side hustle is writing. Let me explain further: Since 2013, I’ve written and published three stories that many of you may already know.
As a precursor to the above shared information. I retired on Social Security Disability after having 6 knee and foot surgeries in 5 years, in 2014 and after 42 years of service with Acme Markets.
So, I was looking for something to occupy my mind and to fill a curiosity at that time in my life. I’ve always been entertained on a personal level, leaving a legacy that will hopefully outlive me and fulfilling a dream of becoming a published author. T
Though none of these works have made me much money, they gave me something more than money can buy…purpose and a sense of pride.
Had it not been for our eldest three grandchildren hearing and urging me to publish it and share it with readers like you… well, who knows if I’d be sitting here today writing this prompt to post on my daily blog.
That story is now officially a teenager in the publishing world, alongside other notable literary giants. A fellow co-worker, shortly before I retired, came up to me and said… Thanks for letting people know that we are collectively more than just service industry employees,
