Daily Prompt: What’s the best advice you’d give to someone younger than you? 9/13/26

John 3:16 – Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and smile, as it is infectious.  God Bless America; protect our president and the military!

Read the above carefully then read it again as the key to a good and successful life

Learn what you enjoy, follow your passion, and learn to love the life you lead, which starts with being proud of the person who looks back at you every morning in the mirror. Avoid life’s pitfalls and listen to your inner self- what we call your gut feeling.

Accept that life is like the Oscar Meyer theme song, and is made up of all kinds of people. If we were all the same, acted the same and looked the same life would be kind of boring like going into an ice cream store that everyday only served the same flavor your whole life. Remember the golden rule… “Treat others the way you wish to be treated.”

So choose a career path wisely, especially if you have a family, because your choices will affect that relationship too. Heed the profound, sage advice from one of the world’s richest, committed to his business adventures, and dying man at the age of 56, who realized that all the money in the world may not save you – Steve Jobs

Point to Ponder: From Jobs’s essay written in his last days: “I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In other’s eyes, my life is the epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, my wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to; yet at this moment, lying on my bed and recalling my life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in have paled and become meaningless in the face of death.

You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you, but you cannot have someone bear your sickness for you. Material things lost can be found or replaced. But there is one thing that can never be found when it’s lost – Life

Treasure your love for your family, your spouse, and your friends. Treat yourself well and cherish others. As we get older, and hopefully wiser, we realize that a $ 3,000 watch or a $30 watch both tell the same time. You realize that your true inner happiness does not come from material things of this world. Whether you fly first class or economy, if the plane goes down, you go down with it.

Therefore, I hope you realize that when you have mates, buddies, and old friends- brothers and sisters- with whom you chat, laugh, talk, sing, or talk about north, south, west, east, or heaven and earth, that is true happiness.

So, don’t educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So, when they grow up, they will know the value of things, not the price. Eat your food like medicine, otherwise, you have to eat medicine as your food.

The One who loves you will never leave you for another because, even if there are 100 reasons to give up, he or she will find a reason to hold on. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few really understand it. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved when you die. In between, you have to manage.

The six best doctors in the world are sunlight, rest, exercise, diet, self-confidence, and friends. Maintain them at all stages and enjoy a healthy life.”
