My video game experiences are very limited as I was never one like our children and grandchildren to get caught up in the distractions and time they consume. I know I probably sound like a boring guy to many. In earnest my limited extent of video game knowledge begins with – Atari Asteroids, Pac Man, Space Invaders, Donkey Kong and probably ends with Duck Hunt! I know boring!
The only others would be Madden Football or EA Sports version of Stratego, Chess or Tiger Woods Pro Golf which is the one I would pick only for the mere fact that nobody gets, shot, maimed, gutted, beheaded, destroyed or killed in a checkmate scenario.
Whatever happened to just play plain old Scrabble, Parcheesi, Conflict, Battleship, Candy Land, Monopoly, Life, Chutes and Ladders, Operation, Yahtzee, Old Maids, Poker, Fish, Canasta, Trivia Pursuit, Probe and Risk but plan on doing it on a rainy day.
I think the person who made up the murder, death, kill games where older guys called Butch, who actually enjoyed games like – Knuckles, Hide-the-Belt which turned into Hide-the-Buckle rather quickly!
Anyhow, for me it would probably be Guitar Hero, Tiger Woods, EA Sports or Madden Football where I would still get embarrassingly slaughtered by some youthful crazy young Pinball Wizard called Tommy or in our house Michael!
So, this should get reall interesting fast what video game world would you live in and why?
