Daily Prompt: How do you define success in life? 11/1/26 Pray today for… All Souls / to…All Saints Day

(John 3:16) – Be Thankful, Grateful, Understanding, Charitable, Patient, Kind and Smile as it is infectious!

To me success is making enough money in your or shared career paths to give your children a safe home environment, put food on the table, good education, pay your bills and be able to put money aside for vacations, holidays, birthdays, taxes, rainy days like car inspections and the like. In essence pay yourself first for your hard-earned work.

Anything in excess of that means you’re fortunate and capable intellectually enough to chase your life dreams; just don’t let those dreams cost you the most important things in life that begin and end with… Faith, Family, Country, Friends.

Steve Jobs when dying of incurable cancer, realized he was so focused on devoting most of his time and energy on projects that made him very wealthy his should’ve been paying more attention to his wife, family and things in life that bring joy many f which are the simplest things. He realized all his wealth and fame couldn’t add a day to his life but left him with regrets of things he should have paid more attention.

Point to Ponder: Be sure in life to leave time to save and pursue bucket list items, explore hobbies e.g. traveling, family, making wine, playing music, and writing books or doing a daily blog or whatever brings you joy away from your everyday life.

What would be your Cliff Note version of a response? Just curious!
