Daily Prompt: What’s a cultural tradition from your country that you love? 8/23/26

John 3:16 – Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and smile, as it is infectious.  God Bless America; protect our president and Military!

Thanksgiving – It was based on the native people reaching out in earnest to help the Quaker settlement to survive here in their newly adopted land. Then shared ideas in agriculture and industry of the time known only in Europe. It is represented in the breaking of bread together sitting down and in giving thanks.

It’s a tradition in idea of the possibilities that might have been done differently if we didn’t impose the European hidden doctrine to come of Manifest Destiny from all sides that included the French, Dutch, English, Portuguese and Spanish conquest for their kings and queens.

What’s is your favorite cultural tradition?

Point to Ponder: I highly doubt that the tribes of the Lenape, Oneida, Iroquois’, Mohicans and other notable east coast and plains tribes would extend that same kindness in looking back in assisting those early settlements survival, but I would highly doubt it.
