Seventy years young and happily married to my wife of fifty years where we have more of life left behind us than on the road of life ahead of us. I’d tell myself to stay the course with kindness, patience, compassion and without expectation.
You will face some challenges; both work hard and share in all life’s ups and downs and all will be fine as long as you do it together. Don’t sweat the small stuff, set time aside for doing things with the kids and more importantly doing things by yourselves and don’t sweat the small stuff. Then leave everything else in His hands.
Well first and foremost a happily married husband to my wife of 49+ years, Father of four, grandfather of 8 and we’re both products of parents from the Greatest Generation and WWII Vets. Hobbies include Traveling, Wine Making, Guitar Playing parttime storyteller and Author!
