Over the years, some may say a house, boat, car, or other material things that don’t last a lifetime.
All but one – The best purchase I made in this life is the engagement ring sworn to a promise and the wedding rings exchanged to cement that promise in the eyes of God!
Without that acceptance, the children and grandchildren today would be someone else’s dream, and the material things owned would be only on borrowed time – Houses, cars, and boats would pretty much be meaningless if we didn’t have them to share together as family. This response may sound hokey to some, but it has been working for over 50 years for us. So, we will take hokey!
