John 3:16 Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and to smile, as it is infectious. God Bless America, Protect Our President and Military!
Get a good education, work hard, save and invest when and where you can, and most importantly, pray harder.
Every person has a different take on what they feel is the meaning of success. Most people will tell you to have a career that allows you to live a comfortable life, raise a family, take vacations, be there for your wife and kids, and enjoy the experience of watching them grow up into socially productive adults with your same aspirations, or more or less.
These things all change with the different variables of life and the one you were born into – For example, a kid from the projects certainly has more obstacles in their journey than a kid raised in an upper-class suburb.
Elon Musk or Donald Trump are two examples that were born with a leg up in life in regard to wealth, opportunity, lifestyle, education, and the like. However, in the same respect they were expectations and pressures to succeed beyond even their station.
Other variables that have a cause and effect on one’s success or lack thereof are – Households where there are drugs, alcoholism, or abusive situations, compared to those with two loving and nurturing parents and a developed nucleus for success. Those who succeed from otherwise perfect backgrounds use their misfortune as a catalyst to drive them to success.
Point to Ponder: Be mindful that not everyone starts from the same place in life and under the same circumstances you did, having the same nurturing home, educators, opportunities, and guidance.
