Life is full of so many simple pleasures e.g., loved ones, mornings in bed, sunrises, newly mowed grass, Autumn leaves falling, sitting around a firepit sharing stories that make you laugh, waves crashing on the surf, the peacefulness of falling snow, the earthy smell after a Spring rain, sunsets, gardening, making wine, eating ice cream, quiet moments in reflection, writing, reading, back country roads, mountains and so much more.
However, the one thing that gives me the most pleasure is sitting around playing my guitar, either learning a new song or just putzing around, dabbling with the strings.
