The question like many is vague as there is so many things that may cause uncertainty -Job qualifications, DIY projects, marital questions, raising children, medical concerns, legal or tax advice, being named an executor to a will and all it involves, funeral/death and burial concerns, how to handle yourself on a first date or meeting your girlfriend or future in-laws family, self-defense techniques, exercise, recipes or cooking instructions biblical interpretation and a litany of other things.
However, today it is much easier to deal with uncertainty in all the above as your phone is a sophisticated computer that allows you to research, chat, U-Tube or question most things to someone of greater knowledge, authority, expertise, and know-how. In a pinch you can always ask a pro or call a professional service in that field all with in your fingertips on your laptop or cell phone.
On a personal level I like researching things on my own first and trying my hand at it unless it is above my pay grade of knowledge.
