John 3:16 Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and don’t forget to smile, as it is infectious. God Bless America and Protect Our President and Military!
- Coming here, breaking the law, to start by entering illegally
- Overstaying their work visas, which again is breaking the law of the land.
- Learning the laws, obeying the law, have a job lined up, bring something educationally or trade wise to enhance the system and pay taxes.
- Not learning the language, Pledge Allegiance, and accepting our country’s flag and people as your new family home. If not don’t come.
- Relying on government assistance funded by taxpayers while not actively seeking work to fit in as fast as humanly possible.
- Coming here for nefarious reasons, child trafficking, advancing prostitution, drugs, gangs, and overburdening the legal/criminal system and jails, which again are funded at taxpayers’ expense.
This isn’t rocket science. Come legally, find work, keep your nose clean and pay your taxes which fund the things you came here for in the first place – Higher Education, Better Jobs, Economy, Health Care, Medicine, and Opportunities to enhance your family as naturalized American Citizens have done for countless generations from all over the world.
Don’t come here thinking that the American citizen of today owes you, your family, or anyone else anything. If you want something, go out and earn it. If the town you’re in doesn’t offer what you’re looking for, consider moving or taking public transportation to a place that does. Just stop complaining.
If your neighborhood or educational system is going downhill, ask yourself why. Then be part of the solution, work with government officials, police, the judicial system, and if they aren’t helping to fix the problems, vote them out of office. If you or your family is still where they were 50 or 100 years ago again ask yourself why? Then change your situation.
Try a new direction, but again, without pointing fingers and blaming others with a “whoa is me” attitude. The poor of our country are rich in most parts of the world, and some people would love to have the life and opportunities you have. Everytown has a library, a Community Center, and more; take advantage of it. In the words of JFK- Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country! Just make sure if you’re here, it’s America and the American Dream.
