John 3:16:
Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and don’t forget to smile, as it is infectious. God Bless America and Protect Our President and Military!
Welcome, June, and the start of Summer! School will be out soon, giving way to new opportunities, graduations, forward thinking, and enjoying the moment. Parents will also be looking forward to summer vacations, pool openings, BBQs, family outings, and planning ahead for their children’s next steps. Live and enjoy the moments as they go by fast!
Face challenges with a can-do spirit and say “YES!” Yes, to new opportunities that may present themselves. On the Merry-Go-Round of life, the brass ring only comes every so often, and you only have a split second to grab hold of it!
Another piece of great advice is that life is full of opportunities; you just have to work for them, and nothing is free, and everything has a cost, so read the fine print carefully!
Lastly, teach your children to live their lives so they don’t grow up depending on someone supplying them with fish. Instead, teach them how to fish; supply them with the rod, line, filet knife, needle-nose pliers, sinkers, hooks, and reel, but have them work for any other accessories and find their own bait. It will be a life lesson well learned and earned.
If you were asked what piece of advice you would share, what would you say?
