Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and don’t forget to smile, as it is infectious. God Bless America and Protect Our President and Military!!
You can keep flying faster than a bullet or leap tall buildings with a single bound, swim underwater, and talk to sea creatures, control multi-universes, be an Orange Rock, a Green Hulk with menacing strength, or a filthy rich man with all his wonderful toys living in a cage and dressing like a bat, etc. Those are all things of human creation, living in our imaginations in comic books, movies, action figures, lunch boxes, and T-shirts. They are also a distraction from a living, real power.
No, if I were blessed or granted any power, it would be from a higher authority who granted me, through Him, the power to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and more in His name. Also, to live forever in our next life, just follow two simple but hard rules!
The First and Greatest Commandment – “To love the Lord your God with all your mind, with all your body, and with all your soul”!
The second and No Less great Commandment – “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Point to Ponder: Since the beginning of time, those two rules for living one’s life have been challenged in our humanness of mind, body, and soul. I heard a speech years ago by the late Billy Graham that made as much sense then as it does now, and I will attempt to paraphrase it now.
“In the time of Noah, before the flood, those hundred years from receiving God’s warning, gathering the things dictated by God, and building the Ark in total was cited as 120 years. People laughed, married, had children, lusted, fornicated, and sinned in all manner of man. They thought Noah was just a crazy old man who warned them of their coming doom. When the doors of the Ark closed, they were no longer laughing or heard!”
