Good Morning! Prayers for Peace in the Middle East and a Remembrance of the Sacrifice of Charlie Kirk, whom we honored this week, and his family.
Aside from the two major historical events mentioned above that occurred this week, with President Trump signing the Middle East Peace Accords and hopefully wearing red yesterday in honor of Charlie Kirk’s ultimate sacrifice in spreading the Good News!
My life has seen both the best and worst of mankind since the end of the Korean War and Vietnam Wars, the Civil Rights movement, the Space Race, Cuban Revolution and the Bay Of Pigs heightening the Cold War, JFK Assassination, the Apollo 11 landing on the moon with commander Collins, Buzz Aldrin, and Neil Armstrong on July 16th, “One small step for man; One giant leap for mankind.”
The overturning of Roe v. Wade coincided with events known as “The Summer of Love,” the Woodstock festival, and the emergence of the “Me Generation.” During this period, Dr. Timothy Leary told the youth to “Tune in and Drop Out. “This period also contributed to the escalating drug epidemic and rising abortion rates around the world. The only positive outcome from this era was the conclusion of the Vietnam War/Conflict. However, it left our youth and our returning Vets grappling with serious issues such as AIDS, STIs, and the ongoing problem of drug overdoses that affect us to this day. Don’t just take my word for it; look at the statistics.
The 1960’s saw the beginning of the Vietnam War, The Beatles bringing the British Invasion in music to America, the Assassination a few months apart of RFK and Dr. Martin Luther King.

1980s The Chernobyl Nuclear Incident, which indirectly led to the end of the Cold War, with then President Ronald Reagan saying, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”
The 1990s were marked by the Salt I &II nuclear agreements, which were part of the efforts between the then-Soviet Union, which was dissolved in 1991. Creating democratic free elections among the Soviet controlled countries and forming what is now known as Russia and the USA to denuclearize.
The End of Apartheid in Africa culminated in the election of Nelson Mandela as president. The Rwandan Genocide in 1994 with a peace deal ending that this year under President Trumps leadership.
Sept.11, 2001, when the world stopped not only in what, how, and why it happened with the significant loss of American life, but also the years before it, but the response felt around the world by the United States and its Allies until this week, hopefully with the signing of the Middle East Peace Accords.
Also, the expansion of the Global Internet which then led to the Global Financial Crisis of 2008
2010 – Arab Spring which was a series of pro-democracy uprisings in the Arab world.
Social Media Boom with the creation of various social communication platforms.

2020 – Wars ended under President Donald Trump to date, Israel/Palestinian war against the Iranian proxies, creating this week’s Middle East Peace Accords with the Arab nations in relation to Gaza, and a final solution, hopefully in creating a peaceful Palestinian state. Most of the conflicts below arose in the absence of negotiations, as a result of Trump’s Tariffs and trade deals with each nation, highlighting how these conflicts have not only had grave consequences but also disrupted free trade lines, affecting each of their countries globally.

Point to Ponder: What will your future hold, and how will it impact your family? The part we all play is up to us. In the words of one much greater than I, “Men must change before their people can change.” Again, have a great day and enjoy this moment in time, and be kind and leave them with a smile.
