Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and don’t forget to smile, as it is infectious. God Bless America and Protect Our Military
The whole world had to adapt to what was propagated and caused by man’s insatiable desire to create and control fates whether supposedly under the premises of trying to find cures or more so expanding in the fields of military uses. The later seems more likely with what we know today, and the Wuhan area of China and their government has caused the world great distress and awareness of what our enemies. Also, skepticism of so-called medical professionals like Dr. Fauci and his involvement in funding this kind of research leaves one to wonder.
The innocent are always the ones who pay the price for government meddling’s in weapons, supposed research and the like. Every child in school, educators, businesses, graduates and the many who sacrificed family and friends to this pandemic should never be forgotten or the lesson it should have taught us. Teachers and students alike had to learn via zoom IPads, while social skills were degraded. Setbacks the world is still dealing with today. Just ask any educator, phycologist, doctor or other professional in health care.
How many businesses and manufacturers closed both large and small alike. How many lost jobs due to restructuring business models to work at home methods? I believe the largest impact was on the small private sectors bakeries, mom and pop stores, Malls basically vanished and the list goes on and on. The only ones who were impacted but survived were those who had online ordering or pick-up and delivery such as Amazon, Fed-X, DHL already as part of their practice and the take-out food industry thrived e.g. pizza shops, Uber, Lyft and the like.
Others who did really well were companies that made plastic and paper take out containers, hand and room disinfectants, Dyson or air dryers, sanitation products (who doesn’t remember the run on toilet paper, hand towels and Purel). The pharmaceutical and big drug companies that created these vaccines of course made money hand over fist as almost everyone around the world knew someone who passed from Covid-19.
We all learned from 2020 to 2023 to hunker down, sanitize, keep six feet from healthy family members and friends and never be around anyone who showed the slightest sign of having a sniffle. We all got our vaccinations, boosters and a second booster just to be sure. We helped our kids and grandchildren deal with school and try to keep them Socially connected as best we could with family and friends. We all became just a little more sensitive and mistrusting of governments, doctors, and what they advise us in regard to our health concerns questioning everything and everybody. We are slowly turning the curve to getting back to some form of normalcy, but Covid-19 has certainly taught us all to be a bit more cautious as we move forward in life.
