Well, as a retiree, after peeing or for the more sophisticated linguist urinating. If your over 60 male or female it’s a fact of life. If not trust me, you will eventually get there. It’s always good to start these prompts with a little humor.
After that, I hit the buttons on the coffee maker before heading into the bathroom to get ready for the day. Though not to be too predictable sometimes I either write or post my daily blog while waiting for the coffee to brew. Step outside to fill the birdfeeders, check email and phone for messages before pouring coffee for my wife and me.
Maybe catch up with Fox and Friends for the morning news while having our coffee. Have breakfast and then starting whatever we have in store for that particular day. This schedule is flexible regarding having eight grandchildren, of whom five are still in grade school as there are days, they may need a ride to school, half days, early outs, sick days or days off, dentist appointments and the like. We also have two grand dogs that love to see us from time to time, and sometimes we take them for a walk (mostly my wife, as she is the earlier riser most days).
That being said – Life is good, and all is well with these two retirees.
