Daily Prompt: When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up? 3/26/26
Be thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, kind, and don’t forget to smile, as it is infectious. God Bless America and Protect Our Military!
Well, if I couldn’t be Popeye, Batman, or Superman…nah! only kidding.
Like most normal five-year-old boys growing up in the 50’s who got their first holster and fake pearl-handled cap shooters with rolls of ammo, firetruck or police car with working siren, we all entertained being a good ole’ cowboy-gunslinger, army-man, mailman, fireman, milkman or police officer. Now, girls, on the other hand, at 5 years old, no offense, ladies, as I would never presume to answer for you, but my guess would be a homemaker, teacher, nurse, or other respected profession. So, please share your thoughts?
