Daily Prompt: What bores you? 2/20/26

Be thankful, be grateful, be patient, be charitable, be kind, and don’t forget to smile, as it is infectious.

Television and most movies in theaters have become quite boring lately. It’s frustrating to deal with people who are overbearing, silent, isolationist, unengaging, or condescending, especially when they are rude, obnoxious, loud, have nothing to say, or are opinionated. They often believe raising their voices or being more aggressive in a debate proves their point. In psychology, it is generally understood that when a person loses their composure during a debate and resorts to such behavior, it usually indicates that they have lost the argument or lack the facts to support their claims. We all have times when we might speak over someone or not let them finish before adding a personal point of view in polite discussions, something that those of us with a touch of ADHD are still working on in self-reflection.
