It would be an adobe-and-stone hacienda, atop a very lush, private plateau, with a front portico overlooking a private Mediterranean beach for viewing the sunrise. It would have a stony mountain road that meandered down past our small vineyard into the small village, with its cobblestoned streets and walkways highlighting the pastel-colored houses and shops. The main road, centered on a circular roadway, passes the old steepled church, with a pleasing graveyard in the background, on an east-facing hill dotted with trees, perfectly placed as a welcoming, well-kept sight for eternal rest.
The view, both from inside and outside, will be beautifully enhanced to complement our home. It will feature a swim-out, live-edge swimming pool and a hot tub, surrounded by lush gardens filled with hanging plants, hibiscus, gardenias, and a variety of lemon, orange, lime, and olive trees. Located above the stables would be accommodations for the horse trainers, staff, and caretakers, many of whom would live in town. Additionally, there will be an attached room dedicated to the production and storage of wine and cheeses. Perfectly furnished and a great place to host family and friends.
The back of the hacienda will mirror the front, with rounded pillars and a stone porch breezeway with large glass doors on both sides, allowing open-air living when desired. Also, offering spectacular views of the low mountain range, dotted with grazing land for sheep, goats, horses, and other livestock. The back garden will feature a pergola with a seating area centered on a large fire pit, as well as an outdoor kitchen with a stone pizza oven. Additionally, there will be a fully stocked minibar and two thatched gazebos for more private sunset viewing.
It would have a large circular driveway around a stone well, and an oversized carport off to one side.
