Prompt: What do you complain about the most? 1/29/26

Live the year with thankfulness, gratitude, respect, patience, charity, and kindness; don’t forget to laugh and smile often, as they are infectious.

Normally, not one to complain and try to take everything in stride, as complaining never changes the dynamic of the current situation. I know some of you today will and could complain about the snow and ice, shoveling, snowplowing, frigid temperatures, and the like, especially this week. Losing power would certainly qualify as a right to complain, right there with a burst water pipe, a leaky faucet, a misplaced remote control for the television, or procrastinating on things that need to be done sooner rather than later. Yet complaining never fixes the problem; it only makes it worse, and it really isn’t good for your heart! Besides, if you woke up today, you could always be thankful that things could be worse.

In the words from the song by Bob Marley – Don’t Worry Be Happy!
