Prompt: Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done. Wow! Did January Fly By – 2/1/26

Greet the day thankful, grateful, patient, charitable, and kind. Don’t forget to do it with a smile, as it is infectious!

It’s one of two things: cleaning out the closet and getting rid of old clothes and shoes, or right there at the top, the same with the garage, and cleaning stuff out, or rearranging things neater.

I would imagine many of you might have similar answers. If not please share.

Point to Ponder: Someday, eventually, you’re going to move, downsize, or leave the chore to your kids or relatives to deal with things saved well beyond their use or collected over the years, drawing dust on some forgotten shelf or still in boxes from your last move. It reminds me of an aunt who loved antiques and collected many things over her years of marriage. In this instance, one person’s treasure becomes trash for someone else. The problem is leaving it to family or relatives who don’t share your love of those things to clean out for you. One more thing: we downsized from a 5-bedroom house to our current house, a two-bedroom rancher. We gave 19 vans of treasures collected to Goodwill, gave stuff away, and still spent $500 that day to “College Hunks with Junk” to remove another half-truck of treasures, except no, it was theirs now and at cost. Just a suggestion, but ultimately the choice is yours, no pressure here!
