Prompt: What’s the thing you’re most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it? 1/28/26

Live the year with thankfulness, gratitude, respect, patience, charity, and kindness; don’t forget to laugh and smile often, as they are infectious.

I am not a fan of great heights, you know, those people that scale buildings, Half Dome Rock in Yosemite, and camp out in a sling halfway up, Denali, Mt. Everest, jumping out of a plane, and for some unknown reason, Helicopters? etc… Even being at the lookout at the top of the Empire State building really didn’t bother me, but I might add being stopped in the middle of the trestle on a Fall train ride a month after 9/11 had me quietly inside, freaked out as a plane passed by.

I do challenge myself over the years, climbing to the top of the Lighthouse Walkabouts, or zip lining 150′ in the air in Ketchikan, Alaska, on a mountainside forest with brown bears feeding on trout in the stream below us.

Other than that, I am also not a big fan of snakes, hornets, and other pesky vermin. No, you won’t see me on the Extreme Challenge anytime soon, either.
