Live the year with thankfulness, gratitude, respect, patience, charity, and kindness; don’t forget to laugh and smile often, as they are infectious.
This is my opinion and my opinion only, but in my eyes the person you elect to do those things and make the tough decisions in keeping our country, our children, and our economy running safe and productive under the guidance of our forefathers who orchestrated, wrote creating our Nation under the guidance and dedication of God protecting Our Devine Providence needs to be respected and the rule of law that supports those founding ideas followed to the letter.
We need to bring back prayer and the National Anthem to our schools. We need to encourage all people to put our country over their place of birth if they so choose to become a citizen of the United States. Defend and respect the Flag of our fathers, learn the language of the land, and abide by its governance, laws, and protect and serve the land they adopted as home, whence they came. If their allegiance doesn’t rest on the principles outlined in the Constitution and the Articles of Confederation, they should consider returning to where they feel more at home, rather than ruin, change, or destroy our LAWS. One Nation, Under God with Liberty and Justice (If you abide by Our Laws), for All.
Maybe we should stop indoctrinating our children in school (DEI, BLM, CRT) and get back to teaching the subject matter you were qualified and certified teach. Leave the rest to the history books as just that, HISTORY. Everyone in this country immigrated from somewhere, and everyone has a past. We need to recognize that most of us came here from immigrant families and, for the most part, were also subjected to prejudices many years after the Emancipation Proclamation, e.g., Irish need not apply, and the list goes on and on and on. Not recognizing that creates prejudice.
