This last-minute shopping weekend we all know it will be crazy! So, Be Thankful, Grateful, Patient, Charitable, Kind, Smile and try to go at a slower pace!
I do many things that would be creative in some eyes, and not so much in others, e.g., I make wine, publish books and poetry, play guitar, and even try my hand as the vocalist. I have also installed a slate patio, built an 8-foot outdoor table and benches from the oak pallets the slate came from, refinished furniture, installed wainscoting in two houses, built cement walls, built a deck, handled plumbing and electrical work to turn an attic into a bedroom, and did many other things as a homeowner. I have given public speaking events at schools, on TV and radio, on Labor Day, and at the Holiday Christmas Show at the Convention Center. Hey! It’s been a Wonderful Life.
