Why I start my daily prompts is answered here. So, remember to be thankful, grateful, kind, considerate, compassionate, charitable, and don’t forget to smile, as it is contagious and life’s too short!
I worked at Acme Markets for 42 years before retiring. During that time, I made many friends, long before I started writing my daily blog and publishing the three books I have written so far. Nearly 17 of those years were spent in a Customer Service role, and I was also working with our Government and Community Affairs team, primarily focusing on non-profit organizations.
In that time, I have had the distinct, humbling pleasure of representing Acme Markets as a sponsor of the Christmas and Women’s shows held downtown at the Convention Center, where I was interviewed on air several times with Frank & Mary Jelinek. I have sat in on meetings with Howard Nathan, representing Acme Markets as a sponsor of the event held in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Gift of Life Walk/Run for Life. I have been part of the Susan G. Komen events as Variety Club, the Ronald McDonald House, MDA Shamrocks for Kids, Philadelphia Eagle David Akers Kicks for Kids, ” Fallen Heroes fundraisers, Philabudance, Chester County Cares, political meet-and-greets, and the most rewarding MDA Labor Day Telethon, during which I was interviewed several times by local television news hosts.
During my time representing Acme Markets, I focused on raising essential funds to support outstanding organizations. My goal was to do whatever was necessary to help non-profits provide valuable services to families in need. I have shared this information with only a few people, mainly those in my closest circles. It’s important to remember that there is always a demand for support within our communities and church outreach programs, both locally and nationally. I encourage you to offer your time and resources to help your neighbors. The holiday season presents numerous opportunities to lend your support. God Bless! Merry Christmas or Happy Chanukah!

The Holiday Season has always been special, especially now as an author of two Philadelphia Holiday Stories. The window of time to offer my esteemed customers my two written contributions to the literary world is short. So please consider Liking, Sharing, and Reviewing.
Both are cheaper than a pizza pie, and your family and friends will enjoy them for years to come. Heck, even the E*read and Audible versions are under $4, and cheaper than a bottle of water at the movies.
So, please consider purchasing the book, e*read, or the Christmas story on Audible? I’ve included for you and your family’s enjoyment a FREE LISTEN! Click on Link – http://www.A-Glimpse-From-Christmas-Past@Audible.com
