Prompt: What are your feelings about eating meat? 11/24/25

As we head into the holiday season this week, be grateful, kind, charitable, and don’t forget to smile, as it is contagious.

Well, among the many foods, representing almost every nation and culture, from Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian, Americana, Italian, Spanish, or Greek, aka the Mediterranean. All are centered around vegetables that complement meat or fish, and I like them all. Just go light on the hot and spicy for me personally.

I wish I could be more vegan at times, as I am sure it would help the numbers on the scale be more favorable. However, in my youth, I came to realize that, like most animals on this earth, I am a carnivore. I just don’t want to test that by being stranded on an island for any length of time with a Vegan. Only kidding!

This is the perfect Season to enjoy two Philadelphia Holiday stories I published. Both are cheaper than a pizza pie, and your family and friends will enjoy them for years to come. Heck, even the E*read and Audible versions are under $4, and cheaper than a bottle of water at the movies. Please consider purchasing the book, e*read, or the Christmas story on Audible. I enjoy meat as long as don’t need to kill it. When I was younger I took shooting lessons, got a license and went with my dad to Potter county. Well I was ready and I saw a deer!! It looked at me. I then realized it was young. That was the end of my hunting. I shook and sat down. My dad understood! I was 14 and thinking about a medical career. I couldn’t end a life. I wanted to save life. I ever ate venison again. If I buy meat a store I an eat it. But if I met it I couldn’t eat it.
