Prompt: What are your family’s top 3 favorite meals? 11/14/25

Begin and end your day grateful. Treat others the way you would want to be treated, and so don’t forget to smile, laugh, and to be kind

The easy answer to this would be Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner?? My wife is going to cringe at my response, but here are three family favorites for each of the 3 meals mentioned above. Ha!

Breakfast Favorites- Bacon, ham or sausage, with eggs/omelet, toast, and fruit cup, and or potatoes. Please, ice water with w/lemon and keep the coffee coming with creamers!

Pancakes or Waffles (blueberries, strawberries) with syrup and butter, favorite side meat, fruit cup. Please, ice water with w/lemon and keep the coffee coming with creamers!

Chipped Beef on buttered toast points, hash browned or fried potatoes, and a fruit cup. Please, ice water with w/lemon and keep the coffee coming with creamers!

Lunch Favorites – Ham n’ Cheese on Rye or multigrain with mayo, lettuce, tomato. Chips and pickle on the side.

Cheesesteak or Pizza steak with white American cheese, mushrooms, and fried onions; French fries; Pickle or Cole slaw on the side; and a B&W Milkshake. To be served with ice water with lemon.

Hamburger with white American cheese, mushrooms, fried onions, French fries; Pickle or Cole slaw on the side, and a B&W Milkshake. To be served with ice water with lemon.

Dinner Favorites: Rump Roast or (NY Strip, Delmonico, Porterhouse), served with Mushrooms, Mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, or asparagus. Accompanied by a Lemon or raspberry vinaigrette salad or an Italian or Caesar salad. Red wine, coffee w/cream for a dessert surprise — me!

Seafood combo: shrimp, scallops, clams, and a lovely white fish (Turbot, Halibut, flounder, Tilapia etc.) in a lemon butter cream sauce, tossed with lump crab meat over your favorite pasta. Served with Red or white wine, coffee with cream, and, again, for a dessert surprise, me.

Chicken in a cognac cream sauce with mushrooms, asparagus, or spinach; sliced potatoes in a bechamel sauce; cranberry sauce on the side; and served with a good salad (see above). Served with Red or white wine, coffee with cream, and, again, for a dessert surprise, me.
