Happy Hump Day! Have a great day, smile, and be kind!
As a long-time married guy, I guess this will get a soup-to-nuts response from cleaning bathrooms, changing diapers, mowing the front or back forty, and weed whacking, Leaf clean up, or snow removal the hard way, vacuuming and dusting, laundry, and not my favorite, folding laundry.
That being said, for me it would be setting up, cleaning pots and pans, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and putting away the dishes.
Now, this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but my wife and I like to entertain for most holidays, birthday dinners for the kids and grandkids, and special occasions. These events happen more often than you might think, being the father of four and the grandfather of eight, and are quite the undertaking in our house, with a minimum of 17 and, over the years, frequently extended family or friends. The number ranges normally in the mid-20s. Not that I am complaining—we love to entertain—but you can see it is quite the undertaking, multiplied by 49 years and counting, with a lot of cleaning, washing, and prepping involved. I think my wife and I could run a restaurant, but only if someone else handles the prep and cleanup. Lol!
