Have a fantastic weekend and remember to be kind and leave them with a smile.
The simple answer to this question is, ‘NO. ‘ I try to live my life day by day and without regret. Now I also am not living a life affected by everyday life’s afflictions of a loved one with a serious, debilitating illness, war, drugs, alcoholism, addiction, and a host of other things that may cause me to respond to this question differently. I am also not saying our lives haven’t had their share of ups and downs – that’s life in the general sense.
How we choose to deal with life’s challenges can vary greatly depending on our perspective. Also, recognizing that my reality may not be yours, and we don’t all start from the same starting place. However, as a person of deeply held faith, I try to see the silver lining in most situations. You know what they say: when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. I would be a glass half-full, or, as my friends would say, two-thirds full. Also, my father’s wisdom, which I still share with my children and grandchildren – “I have yet to see the clock that goes backward in time. If they ever find one, let me know, but until then, live in the moment.
Point to Ponder: The above response is why I start by wishing you a blessed or great day. Also, a reminder to be kind, smile, laugh, and be understanding as you never know the kind of day someone else is having.
