Good Morning! May you have a productive and happy Monday!
Well, I am the kind of person who usually doesn’t procrastinate. However, the last time I put something off was when I wrote the rough draft of the book I just finally published after almost 8 years, (A Chance Encounter with a Most Unusual Acquaintance).
Hey! in my defense in that time life happened. I had two more grandkids, graduations and in the past few years we lost my brother in-law from a cancer related illness. Tomorrow will be two years since and within six weeks of that my daughter in-laws’ father and my wife’s aunt, Mae passed as well. Not to be too depressing but a few months after that my brother lost his battle with cancer, so I literally had a legitimate reason.
So, I finished the book which was always going to be a family legacy piece built around a holiday story, (think Hallmark) and based in and around the Philly and DELCO area attractions. If you happen to support this or my other work that was published in 2014 (FREE SAMPLE LISTEN – http://www.A-Glimpse-From-Christmas-Past@Audible.com). Please write and post reviews for both books if you would at your favorite online bookstores, and this local author would greatly appreciate it.
Point to Ponder: The reason behind putting it off and maybe you have or are doing the same with something that you thought you would get time to do later. In my case life happened and changed the direction of our families in the blink of any eye and 7 years passed in the blink of an eye. Think of the changes in your families or maybe you weren’t even married, owned a home had children or they weren’t in school or out of grade school, High School or college. Seven years ago we weren’t even thinking about Covid 19 and the effects it has had around the world. I guess my message is live today and don’t put off tomorrow as none of us really knows what tomorrow holds for us in our lives. Carpe Diem! (Seize the Day)
