Prompt: If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it? 10/04/25
Good Morning! Carpe Diem
If I were fortunate enough to win a million dollars, I would live by the motto, “A fool and his money are soon parted.” As a retiree would put the money in a CD account or other short-term interest-bearing account
I would hopefully grow it enough to pay off at least some of the taxes incurred. Speak with a financial advisor on the best way to increase it so I can enjoy my retirement, travel, and have money to support my charitable giving and help family members.
Things I wouldn’t do: Not spend a dime before I worked out the above to use the money beneficially, and still have growth.
Do not pay off our very low-interest-rate house and keep it as a tax base to offset earnings.
Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing we won’t be financially burdened by worrying about the future. Enjoy the gift wisely and pay it forward when and where we can.
