Prompt: What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail. 10/3/25
Good Morning! Have a fantastic day
Since my Senior year in High School, when I got injured and had a pretty severe knee surgery that had me put off doing things that I had always thought I would do. My doctor’s response to attempting them at the time was, “How do you like golf?” I tried it on many occasions, and as a pretty decent athlete in baseball and football, I can honestly say golf isn’t my game.
The list is a short one for me of those things, and in honesty, I have had 6 knee (3 replacement surgeries) and four-foot surgeries, one being an Achilles tendon repair, which I highly recommend avoiding. Anyhow it shows why I am so reluctant in attempting the below:
Skiing, Water skiing, Skateboarding, Skydiving, Mountain Biking, and anything else that would put undue pressure on my knees or feet, in my efforts to avoid any more surgeries.
