Whether you work with your hands or mind, every task brings a reward of accomplishment of a job well done. There’s a term in the Business World known as your LOE (Level Of Effort). All business or even self-related interests rely on your ability to see them through to the best of your abilities.

Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician, Roofer, Mason etc…

A Musician learning a new set to entertain or, on a personal level, accomplishing some next level of achievement and development.

Project Manager, Artist, Lawyer, Developer, Advertising Firm, Lab Tec,

Maybe you are working on refinishing a cherished family heirloom, building a table, putting in a fire pit, planting a garden, making some makeshift benches, planting trees, and the like.

Yours may be a culinary feat of making the perfect dinner or dessert, which brings joy, making the hard work worthwhile in everything you do!

It may be fulfilling something you’ve always wanted to try, such as writing and publishing a book, music or poem, which could also fulfill a long-held desire.

Point to Ponder: The same can be said if you play sports at any level of competition – practice hard, give it your best, and leave it all on the field or court, Win, Lose, or Draw. Be a gracious winner and even better loser with the attitude. Put your talents to whatever it is you do and give it your best. After all, that’s all any of us are really capable of doing.
