Work hard and play by the rules. When opportunity knocks, challenge yourself to say “yes.” Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and remember that trust is earned, not freely given. Most importantly, no matter what you do in life, be able to look at the person you see in the mirror every day and, in the eyes of God, be happy with who you see.
Don’t dwell on the past. Remember that forgiveness is at the heart of the law, but recognize that I have yet to find a clock that runs backward in life. Keep your eyes focused on the prize of succeeding in life based on good, honest, earned, hardworking, and worthwhile principles.
Point to Ponder: I live by these basic rules: “Attitudes are Contagious, so be sure to guard yours, it’s worth catching.” The other and in this order: FAITH, FAMILY, COUNTRY, FRIENDS
