Anyone who is a self-described good leader can only be effective if they are willing to listen and take advice from a broad-based group of their constituents before weighing their options and making a decision. The best leaders typically prefer not to be surrounded by so-called “YES” people, as they tend to agree with anyone who they believe can advance their careers. The end result of such leaders is usually failure and a short-lived career. Good leaders encourage their team to set aside self-interest and focus on fostering an open relationship, even if it means offering a different perspective. Carpe Diem! Have a Fantastic Day!
