Waking up this morning to find out that my book manuscript is ready to print and market! 8/19/25

Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

Well, every morning I feel blessed to greet a new day of the Lord’s creation next to my lovely wife. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday on Saturday, followed by us all attending our son’s good friend’s band, which features our nephew on drums, at a local bar. They sent out and sang birthday wishes to our daughter, which was very nice.

Sunday, I got together with my late brother’s bandmates to practice recording two of his songs and two of the other singer-songwriters in their band. After wrapping up our session and the goodbyes, I still managed to go home, change, collect my wife, and head to the swim club to spend the evening with family and friends. All in all, a pretty fantastic day

Today, we have peaches ripening on the tree in our yard, and our tomatoes are bountiful enough to share with family, friends, and neighbors.

Also, we bottled a new batch of wine, a limited edition with skins and oak from Valencia, Spain, called Alias – A blend of Monastrell, Cabernet, and Tempranillo grapes in the forefront.

The icing on the cake was giving the publisher the go-ahead on the final proof of my manuscript. So, keep an eye out for that!
