What brings you peace?
First and foremost, nothing brings more peace of mind than knowing your loved ones navigate their daily routines and come home safe, sound, and in good health.
The experience of enjoying life—like playing an instrument, reading a good book, or sharing special moments with friends and loved ones—feels different once you have a child or children of your own. Their needs take precedence over your own. In the words of my 83-year-old mother during her last days as she fought the illness of dementia, my older sister asked her, “Mom, it’s okay, we will be fine, but when do you think you can stop worrying about us?” Mom replied thoughtfully, “When I pass, and knowing in that moment that I did everything I could possibly do as a parent.”
Well first and foremost a happily married husband to my wife of 49+ years, Father of four, grandfather of 8 and we’re both products of parents from the Greatest Generation and WWII Vets. Hobbies include Traveling, Wine Making, Guitar Playing parttime storyteller and Author! A Glimpse from Christmas Past – A Philadelphia Holiday story you and your family are sure to enjoy for years to come even more now since Macy’s in the Wanamaker Bldg. closed along with the Dickens Village Display, Holiday Light Show and more
