As a self-taught guitar player, I’ve been at it since 1969. I’ve never been able to read music any faster than Every-Good-Boy-Does-Fine, F, A, C, E. And I might add, I’m probably much slower than the time it took you to read this run-on sentence. Yeah, Bryan Adams and I didn’t know or grow up near each other in the, The Summer of 69. But what’s more important is the joy I get from playing with friends, at the drummer’s house, just like the aforementioned Bryan. I supply the vocals, but only one of us has ever gotten paid for it. LOL!
Other things that come in a close second are gardening, reading and writing which if you read on will see some of my published works and one soon to come including a poem I penned back in September of 1991 at the young age of thirty-five.
