Although this may sound boring to many or maybe envious, as someone who has been retired for the last 10 years and enjoys gardening, it pretty much sums up our listening experiences these days.
As I type, the sounds of lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and weed whackers are coming from nearby homes. At the beach, you might hear the roar of the ocean mixed with laughter, the Fudgie Wudgie guy calling out, the crashing of the waves, and the sound of turning page. However, these peaceful sounds can be interrupted by the squawking of seagulls and terns flying overhead.
While on the Boardwalk, you can hear the ringing of bells from the arcades and the excited screams of kids on the rides. The atmosphere is filled with the vibrant sounds of people watching and the buzz of activity as visitors pop in and out of various stores. This is especially true when standing in line at the pizza, ice cream, or saltwater taffy and fudge shops.
