This photo was taken during a trip to Italy, where I attended a Papal Mass led by Pope Francis on the Feast of St. Francis. As Catholics around the world await the Conclave of Cardinals, where only those under eighty years of age will be eligible (about two-thirds of the cardinals), we hope that whoever succeeds in filling the shoes of the Fisherman on the throne of St. Peter remains true to the teachings of the Bible. In a world often filled with challenges and changes, it is our hope and prayer that the teachings of our Lord continue to be a guiding constant.
